Charlie Gardner

Co-Director of Marketing and Communications

Charlie Gardner is Co-Director of Marketing and Communications for Endemol Shine Group.

Charlie was appointed to the role in December 2014 and oversees both areas for the newly launched company.

Charlie joined Endemol’s UK operation in 1999 as Head of Corporate and Public Relations and was promoted to Director of Communications in 2004. In 2006 he was given the additional role of Group Press Officer for Endemol Group, with a further remit for media communications internationally, before being appointed Global Head of Public Relations in February 2009.

Prior to joining Endemol he was part of the Corporate PR team behind the launch campaign for Channel 5 in the UK, joining in 1996 as Corporate Affairs Executive. He was previously an account executive at international public affairs agency IGA with a wide range of blue chip clients.

As Co-Director of Marketing and Communications for Endemol Shine Group, Charlie has responsibility for the company’s worldwide media communications and marketing as well as continuing to oversee media relations for Endemol Shine UK.
