It’s 2013 and London has been evacuated following a nuclear bomb. Thames House has been reduced to rubble forcing MI5 to completely restructure and recruit. Setting up regional Field Offices across Britain, they need young, new officers on the ground, and fast. But the inexperienced, raw recruits will need to be determined, moral and super smart to protect Britain's bleak future. Led by experienced spook Hannah, the rookie team is made up of Charlie, a mathematician and maverick problem-solver, Rachel, an ex-police officer with ambitions to lead, and Jez, a new breed of spook altogether – a former criminal gone straight. Then there’s Vik, who chose his MI5 career over the family business, Rob, a junior doctor at the time of the bomb and Kylie, a psychology student just back from her gap year.
