Description
Work closely with the Sales team to support the sales activity and account management of all digital deals (SVOD, TVOD, AVOD, EST and DVD). Assist in the drive for proactive, responsive and value added sales activity including identifying new business & incremental sales. Deliver accurate timely availability lists to optimize sales opportunities. Proactively manage deals and clients as per legal obligations and the sales executives’ requirements. Work closely with all business units to ensure a smooth client experience - Legal, Operations, Marketing, Research and Finance. Provide support to assist sales executives and Head of Deal Management with day to day administration tasks. Arrangement of travel and meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-sales co-ordination:
Provide pre-sales support, coordinating sales administration activities within the territory team to optimize potential revenues available from the product slate:
- Developing comprehensive availability lists ensuring these meet contractual requirements of the deal.
- Providing information on programmes & product availability to internal team members & external parties including production teams and broadcasters.
- Working with relevant parties to resolve any availability issues.
- Creation of deal memos for the sales team and for input to rights management system.
Post-sales co-ordination:
- Proactively manage deals on an ongoing basis, life of series commitments & TBC availability dates to ensure all client licensing obligations are met. Work closely with Operations and Marketing to ensure delivery deadlines are met and clients are supported with the launch of their licensed programmes.
- Input of deals into the rights management system. Ensure accurate information on all deals is gathered and correctly interpreted and recorded.
- Oversee the recording of amendments to deals in the system (with the Legal team). This Includes amendments due to episodic changes, confirmation of TBC dates & any other changes in information which necessitate changes in contractual documentation.
- Work closely with the Finance and Acquisitions teams to ensure deals have been invoiced and paid and reporting is received as per contractual obligations.
Other general activities and tasks:
- Providing requirements for meetings – including availability lists, screeners, scripts, notes etc.
- General research as required.
- General administration as required.
- Save/file all necessary documents and program information
- General maintenance of shared files.
Skills Knowledge Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience (preferably 2+ years) in TV sales distribution across all media including Digital.
- Commercial acumen.
- Affinity for international programming content.
- Language skills: Excellent written and spoken English and proficiency in at least one other language.
- Knowledge of distribution deal structures.
- Detailed product knowledge.
- Production, management and interpretation of Availability Lists.
- Rights Management understanding.
- Microsoft Office.
