Rubicon
Rubicon TV AS was established in 1993, and is one of the largest production companies in Norway producing television shows for all major Norwegian broadcasters and other platforms including web TV.
Rubicon produces TV shows within all genres, but is most known for programmes within entertainment, comedy, reality and drama. Some of these shows include: the hugely successful drama Lilyhammer (NRK), Eternal Glory (NRK), Ari & Per (NRK), Lyngbø & Hærlands Big Bang (aka Boston Tea Party) (NRK), Clash Of The choirs (TV2), Golden Goal (TV2), prizewinning family drama Hvaler (international title Maria) (TV2), Beat Your host (TVN), Master Chef (TV3) and the police drama Special Unit (TV3).
In the past Rubicon has also produced well known series including Big Brother and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Deal or No Deal and the historical drama series/feature film Kautokeino.
They also produce a number of entertaining documentary and feature shows, such as Siv & Knut (NRK), Typisk Norsk (NRK) and Luxury Trap (TV3).
As part of the Metronome Group, Rubicon TV AS joined Shine Group in 2009.
