Small Minded Terms and Conditions of Entry

• All applicants must be aged between 6 and 11 years as of 1st September 2009
• All applicants must be resident in United Kingdom
• All applicants must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the audition.
• Submission of an application form and compliance with the above does not in any way constitute an offer to appear on the programmes.
• Employees, officers, directors and agents of UKTV or Shine and/or of any of their respective licensees, assigns, parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies and the immediate family or members of their households are not eligible to appear on the programme or participate in this application process.
• Applications will be retained by us and by submitting your application you agree we may share your information with the broadcaster of the programme. Shine and the broadcaster will use your personal details only for the purposes of considering your application for this series,, for administration and potential inclusion in the programme should you be successful. We may also include your information in a database solely for the purposes of selecting applicants for the series and producing the programme. Your personal information will not be passed to anyone else, except where we are required to do so by law, and in such circumstances then the we may pass on your personal information to a regulator or governmental authority including the Information Commissioner and OFCOM. Your personal information will be kept securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable privacy legislation.

 

• The Production team's decisions regarding selection to the Programme is final and applicants agree not to challenge or appeal against those decisions. Selection to take part in the programme may be dependent on consents being obtained, if needed, from schools and/or local authorities.
• All information supplied (including personal details) in your application or otherwise provided must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading. Shine reserves the right to disqualify you if you have supplied untruthful, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information, have failed to abide by the rules or are in breach of these terms and conditions.
