What will happen to my application?
Your form will be reviewed by our team and someone will be in contact via email or telephone within 6 weeks.
How long should the act be?
Ideally around 90 seconds in FULL costume and make-up.
How big can my group be?
There is no limit to the number of dancers in your group.
We are looking for solo artists, pairs or groups of any size.
Do I have to have any dancing experience?
The competition is open to all levels of dance experience.
Can we bring musicians?
If you want to dance to live instruments, i.e. guitar or drums, please note on your application form or tell the production team when contacted.
I am under 18 can I apply?
Yes, we are accepting applications from any age.
Those individuals or members of a group under 18 will be required to bring a parent or guardian to the auditions.
If I am chosen to take part in the programme, can I enter any other talent search?
Yes
What happens if I'm selected to take part in the series?
You will be contacted by a member of the production team and invited to one of our audition locations.
I am not British or Irish but I now live in the UK or Ireland. Can I still apply?
Yes, the competition is open to anyone who permanently lives in the UK or Ireland.
I have missed the deadline for submitting my application. Can I still apply to the series?
No. The deadline for the series is final and no applications will be accepted after the closing date.
What will you do with all of the personal information I enter into the website?
The information you submit to the website can only be accessed by authorised members of the production team for administration purposes and the panel of selectors for judging purposes. We may also use personal information to contact you about your application. Your images may also be used in the series. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions for more information on how your images may be used in the programme.
If you selected yes to "Would you like us to contact you about future series and other opportunities?" we may use your information to contact you in the future about any further series or any other opportunities we or our partners may have.
How do I know if my application has been submitted incorrectly or incomplete?
The production team will use reasonable endeavours to contact any candidate via email if their application has been deemed to be incorrect or incomplete. The email will inform them about what area of their application is incorrect or incomplete. They may then give the opportunity to rectify this issue if appropriate.
Although every effort will be made to contact candidates whose applications fall into this category we are unable to guarantee that this will happen. Accordingly candidates must try to ensure that they apply correctly.
What should I do if my images aren't uploading?
If you're having trouble uploading images, please note the following points:
- The system only accepts jpg images.
- If you have another type of image, Microsoft paint and other image tools can generally resave the file as a .jpg
- So please convert all images to jpg.
- The images must be under 5mb in size.
- To find out the size of your picture, right click on the file and select properties.
- If your picture is too big you must resize it - if you need help with resizing your picture there are numerous tools online if you search for "resize photo"
